Electrocardiogram EKG Technician National Certification Exam

EKG Technicicans perform diagnostic tests to assess the patient's heart rhythm and rate. Proper electrode placement on the patient, recording the ECG, preparing the report for the physician, troubleshooting abnormalities with the recording and ensuring patient comfort and safety are some of their responsibilities.

How HPCT Certification Exam works:

STEP 1. Pay for the exam

STEP 2. Fill out the registration form

STEP 3. Email supporting documents to support@nationalhpct.com

A. Government Issued ID

B. School Certificate or Transcripts (Graduated student)

C. Resume showing one year experience in certification field. (If qualifying with work experience)

D. Military training documents (if qualifying with military training)

STEP 4. Wait for 3 business days for approval of test and confirmation. If you are not approved, your money will be refunded. Please note that your documents will not be reviewed without your exam payment.

Then wait for 3 business days for approval, date

and time confirmation in your email

On your test day, take exam from your computer with a proctor monitoring you on web cam

STEP 5. Receive test results and electronic certification within 48 hours. Hard copy certificate is also mailed.
